Episode 5 – Kane Dowsett

My guest in this episode is New York based Kane Dowsett, who has been the Head of Brand, Communications & Marketing – Americas – for Clifford Chance since the beginning of 2020. Prior to this, he was with Clifford Chance in Hong Kong for 4½ years, having moved there from Melbourne where he was the Communications Manager for a national law firm, Maddocks.  Before working in law, he had a successful career with the global engineering firm GHD, which he joined whilst working in the Middle East. This impressive international career started in sports marketing for major events such as F1 Grand Prix and Australian Open. He is a passionate advocate for LGBTIQ equality and has created many innovative events to support Pride in the legal profession and beyond.  When I first met him in 2013, my notes described him as energetic and creative and “he will go far”.
