About this role
You will be responsible for developing and executing appropriate business development and marketing initiatives relating to the firm’s strategy with the objective of winning, retaining and growing profitable business and raising the firm’s profile in order to strengthen the brand.
Focus areas
- Maintaining, enhancing and monitoring progress of the Sector Interest Group Plans.
- Growing client relationships through promoting cross-selling opportunities.
- Driving sector-related BD and marketing initiatives.
- Pro-actively manage a range of strategic client relationships in conjunction with the dedicated Client Relationship Partner.
- Qualify opportunities to ensure that they align with the Sector Interest Group and firms strategic direction.
- Lead and project manage the end-to-end process and develop responses to tenders and bids.
- Manage and support for direct reports and junior team members.
- Contribute to the ongoing learning and development of the BCM Team.
About you
The successful candidate will bring:
- BD experience from a professional services firm, including leading or supporting service line business plans and high-value proposal development.
- Ability to switch between detail and the bigger picture.
- A commercial mindset with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Experience working with and influencing senior stakeholders for strategic business outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, adept at managing multiple stakeholders, evolving priorities, and tight deadlines.
