Our client is a global law firm providing clients with the full range of business law services across the world. We have placed many BD professionals with them over the years and they provide excellent career development and learning opportunities.
We have now been asked to help them find a Senior Bid Manager to step into an 8 month contract to manage the Asia bid management function based in Singapore. The role works with a well-regarded global bids team that manage multi-jurisdictional/multi-practice area RfP responses.
This is a high profile role reporting to the Head of Bids and Client Development. The primary function of the role is to lead, project manage and draft bids throughout the full bid lifecycle. A large focus of this role will be to drive and embed best practice across business development and fee earners. You will also liaise with the sector-specific Business Development teams, ensuring that responses are truly bespoke in terms of both client and relevant sector. Key to this will be to set up the bids infrastructure and process to support the business.
You will have extensive engagement with senior partners who lead top tier client relationships across the firm. You will also work closely with the Asia partners and the Asia Marketing and Business Development team to build a platform where insights and market intel can support bids and proposal win rates.
