Client Relationship Manager/Senior Client Relationship Manager

The Opportunity 

As a member of the national Business Development & Marketing team, this newly created role is focused on driving the firm’s client strategy in line with the firm’s key client priorities. As part of a small team of dedicated CRMs you will take on client relationship management responsibility for up to three (3) clients that sit within the firm’s Strategic Portfolio.

The role has been created in response to the evolving needs of the business and demonstrates the firm’s strategic market leading approach to client relationship management. Key priorities will include: 

  • Building meaningful, lasting relationships with Strategic Portfolio clients
  • Developing insights to deeply understand client issues and opportunities as businesses and individuals
  • Presenting new concepts to clients to advance their business and strategic objectives
  • Developing and executing the client plan designed to deliver profitable and sustained revenue growth for the firm across Australia and internationally (where relevant)
  • Preparing high quality and compelling proposals in response to RFPs or proactively based on market insights and opportunities

About You

Our client is keen to meet candidates that bring the following: 

  • Relevant experience at a similar level (either Manager or Senior Manager) having had success in similar business development and key client relationship management roles within a corporate, professional services or related environment
  • Deep understanding of people and what drives them as individuals 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills, and advanced influencing and negotiating skills
  • Ability to juggle numerous highly visible projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Pro-activity and the ability to exercise judgment regarding how and when to push key agenda items forward and how to build interest or buy-in and influence cultural change
  • Ability to proactively identify new business opportunities through relationship and client insight, research and analysis of business trends, market, client and competitor intelligence
  • Ability to deliver effective day to day/operational business development support
