As Head of Sectors & Clients for Simmons & Simmons, you will be an essential part of a transformative leadership team. You will shape and drive the firm’s approach to client relationships, co-develop with the sector leads incisive business development initiatives that drive revenue and profit, and through these you will strengthen the firm’s reputation. You will focus on client engagement and support the firm in becoming a leading player for client service. You will bring ideas and challenge the status quo to ensure activities and approaches undertaken are core to the firm’s strategic objectives. You will lead and manage an excellent team to build an integrated, innovative and happy function which focuses on delivering careers and not just jobs.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business development team which has an incredibly strong reputation internally and in which you will be expected to work alongside the partners and lawyers as a commercial business advisor. The firm is looking to work with someone who is a strategic thinker with a strong commercial underpinning, someone who is able to translate emerging business issues and developments into opportunities with the clients.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record in client and business development from within a global professional services firm. An understanding or some experience of either the financial services, asset management, TMT or Life Sciences sector would be hugely advantageous. Experience of managing, motivating and leading large teams is essential.
