Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead efforts in driving profitable revenue growth and enhancing regional presence by providing high quality support to the South East Asian offices (Singapore, Thailand and Jakarta).

As the BDM Manager for South East Asia, you will collaborate closely with partners and stakeholders to develop, implement, and measure business development strategies tailored to the region. You will oversee the BDM team and coordinate with the Communications & Events and Pitch Teams to ensure effective execution of initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development Planning: Work alongside partners to create and execute BDM plans that align with regional strategies, focusing on profile-raising and revenue growth.
  • Team Leadership: Manage the BDM team, ensuring high-quality delivery of pitches and marketing materials, while mentoring junior team members.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct horizon scanning to gather relevant market insights, proactively sharing this intelligence with stakeholders to inform strategic decisions.
  • Client Relationship Management: Drive proactive business development for key clients, prepare partners for relationship meetings, and support tailored client communication.
  • Pitches and Credentials: Lead the creation and delivery of high-quality pitches, collaborating closely with the Pitch Team.
  • Marketing and Communications: Work with the Communications & Events team to enhance the firm’s profile in the market and ensure consistent messaging across platforms.
  • Project Management: Efficiently manage BDM requests and drive strategic initiatives in collaboration with partners and regional leadership.
